Private Health Fund Rebates

With private health extras cover you may receive a partial or full rebate for the cost of the treatment however this will depend on your fund and level of cover.

Some private health funds may offer a benefit for Quit Smoking programs. Our treatment is not covered under any of these quit smoking programs. Our treatment is only covered under Acupuncture services.

If you would like to know exactly how much you will receive back we recommend that you call your health fund. The item number/code is 103 and our treatment is classified as “Acupuncture Initial Consultation”. Your private health fund may ask for a provider name or number however this should not be necessary to provide you an estimate. All our practitioners have individual provider numbers with the 42 private health funds. Please note that it is our practitioners that are registered with these health funds and not our company name AcuQuit.
